XDefiant is finally coming out!
Well, we finally have a full launch date for Ubisoft’s XDefiant! The Xbox Series X|S shooter, which has gone through multiple rounds of testing over the last year or so, is finally launching on May 21st, 2024.
Originally expected to release in 2023, the free-to-play FPS just went through a huge server test on Xbox this past month - with the game re-appearing from something of a hiatus. Anyway, the full version is now right around the corner, with Ubisoft dropping a fresh teaser clip for the upcoming launch down below.
Why would anyone ever buy from a company that is removing the software licenses of people who bought from them in the past?
Ubisoft gets a hard pass from me. I used to enjoy some of their games, but ironically that have become the very enemy they made in their own Watch Dogs series.
Well, the “buy” part is made easier in this case since it’s free to play, but the point stands.
If you download a free game from Ubisoft you’re still gonna feel like you were robbed regardless.
So did they just drop PlayStation altogether? I have the client for this game on my PS5 from their crossplay open beta that didn’t work.
