I hate leaving the house without saying goodbye to my dog. I knew it was going to be painful, but I didn’t know it would hurt this much.

I finally rescued another sweet pup though, and she helps me remember why we carry the memories of those dearest to us, for all our days. It’ll get a little easier and you’ll be okay.
