Hi a dad, I’m Child Eater.
I personally like rust, so I get excited when cool things are done with it because each one makes rust just that much bigger, which leads to it being made that much better.
I see projects like that as more of a statement that “rust can do it” than anything.
I have some faith in Hello Games. I think being skeptical is absolutely the right call, but from what I can tell Sean seems like a decent guy that just got way too excited and started promising the world to people.
The worst part of the NMS incident is that other companies have started doing the same thing deliberately.
All the cool kids use Firefox smh.

Also the only person I feel bad for was the guy’s 19 year old son.
If anyone is interested in the specifics of why the titan expedition was a terrible idea, here is a video of a submarine pilot/expert explaining it in detail based off the information that is public.
TLDW: a lot
Disclaimer: I know nothing about submarines or anything of the sort. I make no claim regarding the legitimacy of this video.
Generally I’m a boomer shooter kinda guy, but I have recently been into more “chill in the world and ‘work’ on stuff” games like Satisfactory, Stardew Valley, Slime Rancher, Minecraft, etc
But like you I also occasionally pick up a shorter, story driven game. Fire watch is one of the best games I have ever played.
I knew I could count on Gordan Freeman to be based
We fight for Rock and Stone!!
Slime rancher and Subnautica for sure.
