Yep I do the email thing. And yeah, I know they all share everything, but at least I make them work for it.

I don’t know how much my privacy is actually being respected but I do go for the “use as many different services as possible so no company knows absolutely everything about me.” Approach.
I have a Garmin watch. I press a button on it twice, and within a minute or so a group of people I selected recieve an email with a live link, that shows my path and current location. Once I press the button again my live location ends but the list of people can still see my whole “activity”. I think that expires on 24 hours but I’m not sure on that.
It’s use is supposedly to show off exercising? I use it when I’m out hunting public land and might be wandering away from my truck or driving to several nearby trailheads in a day and don’t want to have to remember to tell my other half “I know I said I was going to Fish Lake but so got distracted and stopped at Deer mountain and then drove to Owlfield but I parked on the south side of the trailhead but ended up walking north 3 miles…”
Just make sure to do it from Walmart or Lowblaw or some other government teet sucking price gouging corporation.
I think human memory and recollection is too inconsistent to apply that label fairly.
If the cops had been around the corner when it happened and then claimed they saw it then you are right, they should face equal consequences for lying.
But if they were near enough (and the video shows some of them? Than a combination of the sounds and movement and immediate aftermath can and does totally shift your perception of reality.
Quick story: I was at work and I heard someone say something angry behind me. I turned around and “Bob” suddenly shoved “Alex”. Alex shoved back and they started screaming. I got in between and broke it up, facing Bob and basically keeping him from continuing after Alex. The bosses showed up and Bob started going off screaming about how his was gonna kick Alex’s ass and let’s go outside and blah bla blah he shoved me!
I barked at him “You shoved Alex first you need to calm down!”
And he stopped dead and looked at me. “FUCK YOU YOU LIAR.” And a rant about how I was best friends with Alex (I wasn’t, but sure did like him more than Bob) and I would like to get him fired ect ect.
Now Bob was (probably is) an asshole. He ended up getting fired for berating a coworker and then coming to blows with a supervisor who told him to knock it off.
But after I dismissed his accusations and moved on with my day, I started to think about what happened.
I didn’t see anything before I turned around. But I did hear a yell, like a yelp… Like someone being hit…
So I was 100% convinced of what happened, until I gave it some deep thought much later. If Alex had have stepped up and said “yeah! That’s what happened!” I don’t think I would have ever second guessed it, I would have put my career and reputation on the line…
Anyways, they may be fully lying and colluding, but there is a non-zeeo chance they “remembered” it like the victim claims.
ACAB but I wouldn’t put too much weight in the other officers intentionally lying. The incident happened so fast I’d assume 3 of the 4 didnt even catch it from the right angle and are just going off of what Dumbo says happened.
Cancan Dan should go to prison for the same sentence as the crime he falsely accused the driver of.
Then the driver should have been charged with those offences. Also I have no idea how YOU know he was breaking any traffic laws from that video. The officer onsite indicates the lights are not to be trusted, and “speeding”, I’d love to see how you went about determining that from this video…
The cop played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. In a just world once he heals up he would go to jail for the same crime/time as he falsely accused the driver of. Oh well.
What type/brand of laser level? Most have magnetic brackets so if you have an outside corner in the room that has a metal drywall corner it will stick to that, or any peice of metal can be screwed to the wall and the level can be stuck to that. Your level may also come with a metal part of the bracket that you can screw to the wall and then stick the lazer to, and slide it up and down to get the right spot.
I think you might be confused. If you didn’t want people’s answers, perhaps next time don’t ask, or ask a buddy over a drink.
Are you keeping up with the Commodore?
My dad was showing us all Moon Shuttle for the 64, some old game he’d never played. And then he pulled out a chip he called “the shadow” that I guess has a history to it. It was a replacement for another chip you’d plug it into the hard drive to… Copy games? But they didn’t work or they didn’t make enough? He even showed me his thermal printed complaint letter he wrote explaining how long he waited and how many times he was fobbed off.
While I have to suffer the canned variety most of the time, a good cheesy pineapple onion black olive pizza is a very good thing. Or pineapple with any spicy ingredients.
Growing up there was a pizza place in my home town that had a house pizza. The primary thing was the crust was almost… crackery? Dry and crispy (it was just a family owned restaurant, don’t know if they had a pizza oven). The toppings were pineapple, green olives, crumbled/very fine dice ham, onion… I wish I could remember if that’s all. It was an amazing pizza and I regret they closed and I can never have it again :(
Alan Rickman, what a treasure.
