Wish this would come back to game pass. Sea of Stars got me hankering for jrpg again

If you liked tunic, check out sea of stars. It scratches that same itch for me
I just started in on this over the holiday weekend, and I agree: a total blast! It’s giving me heavy Mass Effect vibes crossed with exploring the derelict ships in No Man’s Sky
Excellent graphics, tight controls, great lighting, tense soundtrack. The amount of ammo and health pick ups are just enough to squeak by and keep you on your toes without being too challenging. It’s really forcing me to try out all the weapons.
I’m in chapter 7 right now and just loving it!
Picked up The Messenger last week for $5. I absolutely adored Sea of Stars and so far, really liking the Messenger (although I’m half way through and the difficulty has picked up quite a bit… Or rather, save points are becoming more sparse)
Surprising that it isn’t discounted in this sale too…
I dunno, I liked Tell Me Why and this seems in that same vein
Vampyr was pretty unengaging though, and can’t seem to get into Jusant (controls are not compatible with my brain, and evokes strong Sable vibes, which by my account, was way more fun)
Includes a new ending…
Count me in!
Bought Far Cry 6 bundle a while ago with Bing points. Not as good as 5 but the stranger things dlc was AMAZING. Wonder if it’ll be apart of the game pass release
I say this as a massive survivor fan
Wtf??
Did the developers even watch the show? No Jeff, no music, 12 castaways… Oh and the classic bazooka at a dartboard challenge, can’t forget that
This seems like someone had a different game nearly finished and CBS said “we’ll give you five bucks to call it survivor”
Cool! What other films did you work on?
I agree, it’s a gorgeous game but… I’m just not having that much fun. Am I doing something wrong? It seems overly complicated with lots of toggles, menus, etc. I keep having to look up how to fly the ship, reallocate energy, travel to other systems. Not to mention the litany of items to pick up (or not?)
I’ve never played another Bethesda game outside of the wolfenstein trilogy and spinoffs(which I greatly enjoyed)… maybe this is just what their other franchises are like?
Edit: for context, I sunk like 60 hours into No Man’s Sky when it arrived on gamepass, so perhaps I was expecting more of that?
Yessss!!! Good to be in cat boots with Netflix now
Huh that’s pretty cool. How does one get these levels?
Wake me up when more single player content drops
The senior executives were not in the room Saturday but likely kept close tabs on the progress after investment so much time earlier this week
Uhh, ya think?
Pay no attention to the talent behind the curtain
The retconning was pretty bad and I didn’t care for the future wars stuff (it was a stretch even for a show built on superpowers and parallel universes) , but I’d say Fringe ranks above average in the finale department
Me too. We need more of this!
Sea of stars… So far, it’s a master class in jrpgs
Absolutely nailed it with Jurassic Park
“Take me out”
