Indoor cats is fine
Indoor cats is fine
No, it isn’t. We know they were informed well on in time before, and now we can wonder why they didn’t act on it, and why Putin wants to blame Ukraine for it.
It’s 100% irrelevant to whether or not the Putin did
Putin is a real villain, and it’s not far fetched. I don’t know what 9/11 has to do with this though
Yes - but why did he let it happen? I’m thinking more that Putin willfully neglected any action against it because (reason). Maybe he wants to mobilise more and wants people to feel like they’re under attack?
If you use exactly 20 kW for an hour, it will translate to 20 kWh. But if your power usage varies over time, you can’t keep track of it so simple. It’s just how it is.
The unit is really watt [W] and the Greek prefix kilo (k) for 1000. This way it’s fast and easy to convert to different scales (like Mega, Giga etc) for comparing numbers
You’re right, every task should be made so that you can take information from anywhere and learn it, but have to apply it in a certain way. Then there’s the cases where people let others do their work for them. Every task should be automatically looked through to match, so that cheating can be gotten every time or at least as often as possible.
This is in a perfect scenario imo though, and with LLMs things will get more obfuscate than before.
They made their choice, but then rehabilitation should be the goal rather than cutting their hands off. Not that there’s not a time and place for cutting hands though.
This would be to mitigate societal loss rather than exert immediate justice, so the ones who are able and willing to change have the option.
WHAT? I CAN’T HEAR YOU FROM DOWN THERE
Yes, the punishment for plagiarism is kinda standardised. I feel like maybe, at first strike there should be a warning + redo the assignment. But the specifics would be a whole new never-ending discussion
I’ve always only heard it’s punishable directly with explosion. Maybe it’s for there for a reason, or is it a remnant of the past?
To clarify, I wasn’t trying to argue there shouldn’t be consequences, just that depending on severity it must be proportional.
I want to compare it to the US justice system where, from an outsiders perspective, many are judged unnecessarily harsh. This makes it harder for people to “come back” after release and creates a societal loss.
I’ll end it there because I cba to write more but, eh, just my thoughts. Some nuance is lost in translation too.
Sure, but as a general rule the carrot is a better incentive than the stick.
Food production is “artificially” cheap. There’s a middle man taking a big cut, and there’s somewhere where the cut is taken. Be it poverty wages for poor immigrant workers or animal welfare, there is no price small enough considered by the powers that be for constant production of cheap food.
What are you on about? If anyone is interested, read my comment history
Edit: if we store the shitty pictures on blockchain, literally nothing changes, except a big and bulky blockchain. “I can just save the picture lmao” will still be the answer… Are we supposed to store every software on blockchain too? I don’t think it’s viable
This article too is flawed
I don’t think people thought about it too much. But it shouldn’t be allowed, even if it’s a joke
Maybe a size adjuster is needed
