I guess I meant casual in a “I love Linux, and what it stands for, but I don’t know all the intricacies that make it.” :P
But thank you!

IT’s so crazy to run into a comment that speaks about this. I recently got the urge to play Mass Effect, and wanted to replay through the series. I have had the game bought when it went on sale. I download all 100+gb of the game, and launch it to see some performance. EA app required. I might just request a refund, and then pirate the game, to be real with you all.
I fucking love KDEs Windows 95 theming for some of the interface, while still looking sleek and fast as hell. That and the Plastik theme for the minimize, fullscreen, and exit buttons. :)
I agree, although I do like a MacOS-like dock, because when I was a kid using Gnome, I always loved the dock it came with by default. I’m a filthy casual though, so I can see why some don’t like the docks.
Well, I’ll tell you that I tried all the weapons in the game even with the stupid durability mechanic turned off. Each weapon has its own advantages. So, with durability turned off, I had the master sword for all the mobs I didn’t feel like dealing with as I was exploring. I had a fire sword to use for tactics or to light stuff on fire/cook. A ice wand because I liked the tactical advantage, and the same can be said for the thunder wand.
After that, every other weapon in the game was a reskin of other weapons. There was no point to them other than to have them there because of the stupid mechanic. Your rusted sword swings the exact same way as the master sword. It’s just a pin in the ass to use. Wow. That is just so fun.
But in all seriousness, it’s just not a good mechanic to have in a video game that is not trying to be a realistic video game.
Hello. I played the games on PC too, and turned off the stupid weapon degradation and had a BLAST playing through and exploring the game after the fact. So, no. Some of us just thought the durability thing was a waste of resources, and could’ve made the game much more digestible to those who think it is absolutely dog shit to even be included in a ZELDA title.
Yeah. Weapon degradation in a video game that isn’t trying to go for a realism vibe is absolutely fucking garbage. You’ve got arrows that light on fire, turn to ice, or have lighting as soon as you pull them out of the quiver, but yeah. Totally makes sense that my Master Sword needs a lil sleepy time to become usable again. Just fucking garbage.
I had also replaced the HDD with an SSD. :(
I replaced the battery and RAM on a Macbook Pro 8,1 running Pop_OS recently and the damn thing didn’t even work better. The battery still only lasted around an hour or two on medium brightness and YouTube @ 720p. Absolutely garbage, and it really made me feel like a fool for spending the extra money on that damn thing.
It happened to me just two days ago. Beware!
You can set containers to open every time you go to the website!
For example, I have a YouTube container, and every time I open YouTube, it opens in the container even if it was in a Nexus Mods container or anything like that. Once you have a website in view that you want to always open in a specific container, you can click at the very right side of the address/search bar, and it is an icon just like the containers icon. It says Always Open in or something like that. I hope that helps you streamline your containers! 😁
I love having features, that’s fine with me, but when their biggest “draws” are the tabs thing, then I am with you. Like, okay? How is the extension support? What does their privacy features look like? What does it do that makes my browsing more pleasant? Oh, just tabs tabs and more tabs…? Next!
Finally, someone who uses their browser like me! I keep my Firefox the same, and with containers, I still stay logged in, but don’t have to worry about cookies being left over.
Like you, I’ve never understood how people can handle having 10+ tabs open at once. I have my YouTube tab always up and ready to go, and the rest of the time it is a tab to search, open the link in new tab, and so on and so on. It gives me anxiety looking at the mess that some people have on their browsers! It’s the equivalent of having your entire desktop filled with shortcuts and folders!
Don’t get me wrong, I know more than my normal 5 tabs can be needed at times, I’ll put my own reasons below. But every single day? Closing the browser and having it load more than 5-10 tabs again every single time? No wonder people complain about Firefox being slow, their browsing habits cause it! 😂
The most tabs I’ve ever had open was only to download multiple mods off of nexus that looked cool back before they made Collections a god send. Now I don’t have to do that any more. 😁
God, yes! I see updates like this and just go, “Cool, moving on” because I have no idea what it does, and if you’re trying to get me to adopt your cool thing, I’m going to need more then what appears to be some random strings of words. 😅
Maybe there is nothing to comeback to. Maybe they were just saying that Plato is what leads you to be an intellectual.
Genuinely, the world does not want to always take part in what you want. There are rules to society that most of us at least try to follow out of respect. Time and place to be surrounded by music. I’d definitely say on the bus or train is not the time or place. Agree?
Shocking. Truly shocking.
Does nobody just increase their cursor size…? 😂
Finally! Someone who does the same thing! People look at me like I’m crazy when I say I don’t have a sleep schedule. I let my body do the scheduling. Like you, when it comes to staying up all night, I just tell myself I’ll get some bomb ass sleep tonight. Lol
Outlook (New) is such garbage. Web app, and doesn’t support plugins. Less functionality over all. Pathetic.
