And I thought my opening lines were bad
Anon does not mention his smell, weight, and severe acne.
NAL. Stand your ground and do not put up with him treating you this way. If it starts to get sexual, go to the police.
“Don’t do drugs” Hot take.
That’s weird it wasn’t in the job posting. Seems like they’re wasting their time talking to candidates that aren’t interested in on-site.
I only want remote. The company I work for was once extremely remote friendly. Like 75% of job postings from them were for remote. Now they’ve changed to hybrid or fully on-site at the word from the CEO and like only 5% of open roles are remote.
They kept me remote, but my interactions with others are much less remote friendly. I’m looking for a new job, but will have to be for a company that is mostly remote itself.
Yes. Be able to choose the right life insurance plan, investments, etc for my beneficiaries.
shrug I’m grateful for him being real. I know all of us have these same feelings, he’s just expressing it in the safety of anondom.
Too many people today in situations like Anon’s. Society needs to change.
My thoughts exactly. They’ve been making bad decisions for years.
(That said, I happily use Firefox)
It’s disturbing. Still, I’d recommend watching it if you haven’t yet.
Holy crap. I don’t, but after seeing that I think I’ll need to start
Yeah I remember being taught in church about forgiveness and love. And then taught about Lucifer being kicked out to hell forever, no chance of redemption. It didn’t make sense to me, even as a kid. I think I asked a Sunday school teacher about it and got a nonsensical rationalization.
Might sound crazy but a guess I have is encountering and consuming natural entheogens. Early cave paintings (7000-9000 years ago) depict psychedelic mushrooms.
The alterations in perception and perspective these substances cause could explain experimentation in other areas of life, leading to changes in how people lived. The modern era just built on top of past advances.
Just a thought from a guy who use to trip and had some life-altering times. Also worth noting Steve Jobs considered his experiences with LSD to be a profound experience, “one of the most important things in my life”. I wonder if we’d have Apple or many other modern era advances if he hadn’t had his encounters with psychedelics.
Too many folks stuck in a boat like this nowadays :-(
Thanks as usual for the transparency, y’all.
Thank you as always for the transparency. This instance is going to be the most targeted because of its size. Y’all dealing with this is hard but you’re going to figure things out that will help the other instances.
I’m concerned about when governments get ahold of usable quantum computers.
We’ll always be one step ahead of the bad guys. Fortunately we have places like this where like-minded people can gather who understand the dangers.
I thought this was going to end with anon eating the cat food. Glad the feline was cared for.
