That… Is so incredibly disruptive mentally and emotionally. It’s like being slapped in the face with a fish the size of a truck.
I can’t believe that actually helped at all. Holy shit.
Hi hi
That… Is so incredibly disruptive mentally and emotionally. It’s like being slapped in the face with a fish the size of a truck.
I can’t believe that actually helped at all. Holy shit.
Let’s be clear: it’s a very good browser, very HTML5 compliant, and perhaps one of the best browsers…
…Assuming you don’t care about insane amounts of spyware - AND not having a lot of really cool browser add-ons (those having spyware and memory leaks is a separate topic, but I want to acknowledge these problems).
Edge makes more calls home per second than any other piece of software on my computer. I looked at my live log and it was a literal stream. Nearly every single action you do is tracked and sent… (waves hands confusingly up in the air in circles) …somewhere. Likely Microsoft, but I really don’t know.
Almost all of Windows is like this too. I hate it so much. There’s just no great way to have nice things right now.
Proof?
Edit: I used to use it years ago and somebody I know is considering switching from Chrome to it and I’ve not heard anything about this.
My God. Multiple times I’ve been on that screen in the past. But every time, I’ll have no idea how I got there. I’ve tried to get back, but the best I had was on a magazine’s page at the very bottom.
Thank you for showing this.
My opinion? This is AWFUL design. That a second settings button is THERE is unbelievable. Maybe I’m not hip to how the fediverse exactly works, but this doesn’t feel like the right route to that stuff.
Oooooo… Yes that’s it. Thank you. That’s a good protip. I’m assuming that’s a setting that I probably turned off while trying to make the the All page be more compact.
Edit: I don’t know where that setting is. It’s not in my profile settings.
Are you using a mobile app?
I’m on the android chrome kbin app, annnnnd i think you meant to embed that? But lol… For me it’s the literal exact same bluetext hotlink
Fyi Feedback in case you were curious about other people’s experience:
On Android chrome kbin app, gif loaded into browser, image scaled to 1x and didn’t fill or stretch at all, preloaded on its own fine, had to click play, didn’t loop.
Reddit media always worked for me on Android baconreader. It had a few months sprinkled over the last ten or so years where random hosting sites or Reddit hosted media would choke, but it would always fix itself. I’m not sure how much of any of that is the app or the site or what.
This is the first I’ve heard of Ipfs and that looks VERY exciting…
Hm. From what I’m collecting organically, is that while the fediverse is definitely the future, it has some framework designs and philosophy on …certain issues to really nail out before it can become web 3.0
Shoes? Maybe Reeboks?
Edit: I am appalled by how many people know the term aglet.
