Edit: Apparently you can just do it in the settings. But they will still do it “as necessary for transactions.” Which means they’ll probably still do it and just stretch what “necessary” means as far as they take it. Which is equally as shitty.
I’m in the process of this now. I haven’t used Linux in like 15 years so I’m starting slow with my laptop. My goal is to be free from windows on my desktop and laptop before I have to go to Windows 11. I have to use Windows 11 at work and it’s fucking miserable. I can understand some of the changes from a personal usage standpoint, but from a work related one there are so many features that just make productivity worse. I’ve had to change shit in the registry like 7 times just to get some quality of life features that they changed.
Just remember that every time you see this, someone has to go home and tell their family that they don’t have a job anymore. Or someone has to explain to their landlord why rent will be late. These aren’t just statistics, they’re people.
And remember that every time this happens, it’s literally just to save more money for the “important people” and shareholders. And I guarantee we will see a price bump in Disney services before the end of the year for the exact same reason.
My favorite thing about browsing everything is that sometimes stuff like this pops up. Puts me in panic mode when I’m at work, though. Mostly because I’m too much of an idiot not to open it up lol. And also yes, they are my favorite. I’d feel bad if I didn’t say anything.

I highly recommend the game, but I totally get you. I didn’t buy it for years for the exact same reason. Eventually it was on a good sale when I was between games so I got a chance to play it. If you’re an anime fan you will probably love the game. And if you’re not, it may be cringy as fuck on occasion but you’ll probably still love the game after getting sucked in. But if you end up never playing it, that’s totally fine too. I’ve found in life that you don’t need to watch every movie and play every video that are highly praised. I still haven’t played the Mass Effect games even after owning all of them for 5 or so years.
It’s honestly pretty amazing to watch in hindsight instead of when they were being released. You can see the progress and it’s pretty cool.
I rewatched it like 10 years back I think? It was always this bad. I remember thinking “wow this animation is way worse than I remember” even back then when I was rewatching it. Nostalgia plays a huge part in my opinion. Like how you’d play games on the PS2 and think to yourself “wow games look so realistic these days” but when you go back they look awful compared to today’s standards.

Holy shit this is a blast from the past. This show was my jam as a kid. The animation has aged horribly, but I’d be so down to watch the whole series again.

I was honestly getting so frustrated the other day at work when searching for something very specific and coming up empty handed. Tried DuckDuckGo and even fucking Bing and found what I needed in a matter of seconds. Google search is trash now. I have to go to the second page or further just to find something that isn’t an ad, AI response, or reddit. None of which are helpful.
Fuck Elon Musk, but don’t discourage human curiosity and stupidity. There’s nothing humans love more than conquering an impossible task. Humanity would have never made it as far as we did without people doing stupid and crazy shit. Humanity is the kinda species that just says “fuck it, we ball” and then proceeds to just do exactly what they shouldn’t do. Shit like walking across ice sheets to new continents because why not and go to the fucking moon.
Someone will figure it out eventually. Might take a couple hundred years (if we don’t kill ourselves first) but we’ll get there.
I think this can work with men too. I know this because I am a man and love cheese. I love cheese so much that I go through the pain of being lactose intolerant just to eat me some of that cheese.
It’s just the new trend. One person starts it and has a successful video, and then everyone else follows it regardless of whether or not that was the reason for success. But I’ll take it over constantly using jump cuts every 5 seconds. That shit has been obnoxious for years. Most of the things I watch on YouTube these days are educational stuff so I don’t see either of these things that often. The only time I’m okay with the multiple angles is if they use it as like a “tangent camera” for when you know they are going off script or just expressing their opinions on what they are talking about. You know, an actual reason for two cameras instead of just “oooo look at me.”
The YouTube trend that’s been pissing me off are the YouTubers that change the thumbnail and title an hour after it’s posted because it’s not getting enough views and then make a community post talking about how it’s the best video they ever made.
Kids are gonna find ways to vape. It’s just the way it is. Just like when I was a kid we all found ways to smoke. Making it more difficult just gives them more drive to “get away with it.” Sometimes I feel like all these preventative measures that people come up with were by people that were never even a kid. Like banning fruity flavors. I started smoking when I was 14 and it wasn’t because it tasted good.
While maybe not the original intent, his whole candidacy was based on “I’m not Trump.” That’s not a strategy that can work twice.
Exactly. If she wanted to do anything about it she wouldn’t be able to even mention it. If she said anything that isn’t pro Israel, she’d just piss off Israel and a large amount of her own party. Politicians have always been cowards when it comes to Israel and always will be.
Not the same person, but I do a credit card. It’s a lot easier to figure out a dispute with my card holder over PayPal. Plus I can cancel my credit card instantly instead of risking my personal information getting leaked as PayPal has done before. And if my PayPal got hacked they’d have access to more than just my credit card number.
