From my experience, they don’t read articles either. People can have huge threads with hundreds of replies asking questions that already have been answered in the linked article. Though this is more common in politics and science. F1 media usually take one or two quotes and add 10 meaningless paragraphs that are not worth reading - this is where top comments come to help!

From my understanding, statcounter gets this data from web analytics. Does this mean the data is more or less legit? I don’t know if Steam Deck users browse internet much, though I doubt this device’s market share is large enough to affect the statistics.
The 2006 race was quite interesting: Button got his first win, Alonso retired after getting a penalty in a practice session on Friday, Kubica finished in the points in his first ever race only to be disqualified afterwards, while BMW got their first podium with Heidfeld. Then 2009 and the incident with Massa, obviously. Ocon’s win in 2021 was totally unexpected, but the race was dull.
You need to compare with the same period last year.

I love good stories. For me, the atmosphere and plot are vital. It feels like after work I just don’t have enough time and mental capacity to put a lot of effort in a video game, therefore I avoid things like Minecraft or the whole survival genre, even though I used to enjoy that kind of stuff when I was a teenager.
It seems that they aren’t considering giving out additional points for that, which is sensible. There’s no real need for that. A driver, who wins all three sessions, is already earning more than enough.
So far so good, I see less toxicity than on big social media. I guess there are not enough people yet, I see mostly enthusiasts who are excited that they’re building something new. Perhaps because of that the probability of seeing or getting some unpleasant comments is lower. But I’m also quite picky in what posts I read, something related to Elon Musk or Threads doesn’t interest me.
Currently we have so few posts leading to some article on this community that I actually started reading them 💀

I’m not sure that what you’re saying is correct. I don’t follow anything from those two instances, yet I see their comments.
I spoke about this with a person, who wanted to get a new phone and replace their 3yo model. Ultimately, they just wanted a new thing, because it’d make them happier. That’s irrational.
