I believe Apple still has the power to block third party store apps based on signature. It’s a security thing to be able clean malware.

South Park was right all along. Those time travelers really are taking our jobs.
It’s more that it’s a recent change to not allow it on US models. I think only the iv and v don’t allow it.
Only in some of the most recent and high-end. I think Apple just added one to the iphone within the last year. Qualcomm wasn’t much quicker. There’s a lot of perfectly good phones out there that don’t have AV1 hardware decoders.
It seems more concerning that YT is apparently forcing AV1 when there’s no hardware decoder for it (if I’m reading that thread right). Seems like that will make people think their battery is starting to go — better software decoder or not.
I don’t think famous songs hold any special place for musicians, and this isn’t a song famous for its drums (that a drummer would seek out to study). There’s a lot of songs out there — sometimes you just miss some.
Screen corners are prime real estate. They have infinite size beyond the screen, allowing you to quickly fling the pointer to them. It’s a big reason things like app menus or the Mac’s Mission Control are accessed by the screen corners.
Sounds like its going for kind of a Pulsar: Lost Colony vibe to the gameplay. Not sure the Project Cars aspect of it really adds to the fun, though. Will keep an eye on it.
RWBY’s a big enough IP that a bunch of companies will likely be interested. I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney, Paramount, Netflix, Amazon, and Sony (Crunchyroll) all made bids of some kind for it.
This appears to be an experimental initiative within Mozilla right now. It’s not available to the public and may never be if it doesn’t pass muster for them.

Looks like their subreddit’s been restricted too.
There’s some evidence even large tyrannosauroids had feathers — hypotheses range from partial feathering to feathers that would be shed during the maturation process.
I don’t generally force a pitch for different genders if that’s what you’re talking about. If I’m doing a voice, it’ll be in the accent and/or volume more and maybe the mannerisms.
There are a few things I consider when picking gender in a game.
In tabletop D&D, gender tends to be the last thing I choose in a character (as opposed to video games that usually want it to be your first choice), and I basically just look at the made character including personality and backstory and realize that it’s more interesting or fun to play as one gender or the other.
To me, in both scenarios, it makes sense to get back the original number, because 0 equal parts and zero inches wide leaves the original pizza untouched
To illustrate why it’s not the original number, ask yourself this question — “How many times can you slice a pizza such that each slice is 0 inches wide?”
Yes, you’re leaving the pizza untouched with each slice, so you will never stop slicing. Or, you will say zero, because slices that are 0 inches wide are not slices at all. Or you’ll just say it can’t be done.
I mean, if you bundle them you just end up with “new cable”, so not great there either.
Sounds like it’s something Apple could easily kill by changing something in the protocol that would require it to be re-reverse engineered.
The Chagos Refugees are seeking repatriation of the .io domain name and fees. They likely don’t want people to stop using that domain unless they lose that case.
EA/Bioware had nothing to do with this remake. It was in development at Aspyr at first, followed by Saber Interactive — both owned by Embracer Group.
This was/is? a remake of KOTOR 1, not a KOTOR 3 which has never been announced.
Dishonored is the closest Deus Ex successor in my mind. Harvey Smith in the level design DNA.
