I mean yes, but at least their Discord is externally archived/indexed and they have a Discorse Forum. None of those are my preferences but it’s better than nothing.

Really annoying that I cannot uninstall Lutris…
They promised first deliveries before the end of 2022. The only thing they showed up with was a new prototype. There was no explanation given. No acknowledgement. They since pushed the delivery dates back 3 more times, each with no acknowledgement or explanation. Now they say late 2025. I am not hopeful.
Aptera supports Right to Repair
I like Aptera and have a couple of them pre-ordered but that’s nothing but a promise. They have plans to IPO. Zero chance their consumer-friendly approach survives that for very long.
It’s not incorrect, you just don’t know what you’re talking about.
We weren’t talking about hybrids. Old Nissan Leaf probably equally easy.
Yes you can re-fuel it, ever heard of a gas can?
So people just leave full gas cans all over the place in your area?
While you’re waiting for your EV to charge on the side of the road I’m already off driving.
An EV charges nearly as quickly as you can fill up yours with gas…
Yes well, older gasoline cars are the only cars. That’s what I meant.
you can re-fuel it without having to find a dedicated charging spot
Really? Does it rain gas from the sky in your area?
compared to EVs they are far more repairable.
No they’re not.
I mean…you’re gonna have to run some operating system on it. And that operating system is going to need security updates.
Yes, it’s too old. Does not receive software updates anymore. The newer a-series of phones are still quite a bit larger than the 4a but also quite a bit smaller than the 8 or especially 8 “Pro” or whatever the fuck stupid name they’re giving phones these days.
I was excited for EVs but it looks like I’ll be driving gasoline dinosaurs for the rest of my life.
I think my LG G4 had AI image detection.
Yes that’s incorrect. Open circuit voltage for solar panels can be in the hundreds of volts, but you’re never gonna put that into your battery. You’re gonna run it through a charge controller that will bring it down to a normal voltage. For a lead acid that will be somewhere around 13.6V and 14.4V for LFP.
As far as I know, there’s only a manually-configured list of instances that DON’T federate…
It’s not hard to find out. It uses their own AT protocol. I don’t know if there’s a list but if I open the app, pretty much everyone I see is running on a federated server…
That’s not correct. They can draw significantly more power when in use but also consume significantly less when not in use. You can use 2x SATA with this but you’re gonna spend more $$$/TB
BlueSky is federated also. Only using a different protocol.
Yes. Has been for a while. But only if Threads users opt into it. Of course the things Meta doesn’t actually want you to do is opt-in, and everything else is either opt-out or not an option at all.
What is the goal?
