I wonder if anybody in my town uses Lemmy lol.
I wonder if anybody in my town uses Lemmy lol.
And yeah, lots of variability and replay value with those mechanics I think
It feels like a Tears of The Kingdom pocket edition (which is a silly thought as both are portable games lol).
Overwatch
Curiously both titles are dead nowadays, like literally dead.
I remember I watched it, I understood it and more importantly, I enjoyed it, but now my mind is blank about it… Maybe a rewatch is in order.
I think he means Infinity War, and I agree.
I like to use Pluto TV m3u in Tivimate and my own curated content from Plex in there too with DizqueTV.
I didn’t even have issues finding ROMs before the 2000s… Maybe patched/translated ones yeah, but bare ROMs… I don’t think so.
“Here’s a game that came out in 1987, except we’ve added DRM to it and pulled its new price from a hat.”
If only the execution was similar to the newest Rugrats game…
The Nintendo Switch theme is the most boring shit I have ever seen in a recent handheld… At least it can be improved if you have it hacked… But 3DS were much better, anytime I open it up and the Phoenix Wright or Hotel Dusk BGM start to hit is the real deal!
Why would you think that?
I saw that place gained lots of popularity fairly recently… Mostly on Reddit.
Isn’t there a way to just host all those roms in a site where Nintendo has no jurisdiction?
Every time I see this news (Reddit or Lemmy) I see this kind of comment, but I wonder, what if I want to download just a ROM of a few mbs? I certainly don’t want to hoard the whole collection, as a torrent user I believe I can just pick up the file (if it isn’t zipped), but wouldn’t that be against the torrent’s moral code?
Ah, how to forget the first obstacle in my hobby self hosting projects, the damn CGNAT…
“Just open the wireguard port bruh”
No my friend, I don’t think that is gonna cut it.
(Thankfully Zerotier and Tailscale work for me).
I did the work first, then filled up my disks and moved to Stremio, no regrets, and yeah both solutions offer a better experience than Netflix, Prime Video, MAX, Disney+ and Star+ (which are the platforms I am have/once had.
I’d go back to Kodi I guess, or any app that supports my Real Debrid account, so far Stremio is the fastest solution.
I have a network monitor on my Shield TV all the time and I remember when I first tried it with Torrentio I could see my upload monitor having activity.
I started using it since I filled up my NAS and couldn’t keep hoarding stuff for my arr stack and Plex.
To be fair I always seed at least at a 2 ratio, and when I use Stremio (or Kodi) I use them through a Real Debrid account.
The library in my town is nothing fancy like the ones from the USA (just old old educational books and I got caught on some books of the first PC viruses lol), but hey, at least they had this gem.
but Windows is so astonishingly terrible on handhelds
The way you are telling me this reminds me of the old HP windows laptops I used to use that their battery life did not even last 2 hours lol (I eventually got a MacBook Pro and that was a massive upgrade).
I still don’t picture windows doing that great with laptops (as in optimization), but I don’t know, I have seen very good laptops with good specs very recently that it could maybe make up for Windows being not optimized for anything.
I’m not sure what else they’d need to do. Other than still produce it, I suppose 😅
Yeah this is the part I’d be worried about if I get a Steam Deck and it has no successor 😅
If it is a cartoon, or even anime, I don’t mind between 720p and 1080p in most cases, but that is just about that.
