I understand we don’t like capitalism on Lemmy, but I’m curious how liberalism fares versus the other capitalism-supporting ideologies that are more commonly found in the world.

It’s harder to find the good stuff on Mastodon because you have to follow individuals or novelty accounts.
It’s hard to dream of something you can’t experience or imagine. I wonder if role playing a cow in full costume would bring them closer to their dreams.
Robocraft is pretty awful. The current game is in maintenance mode. The only thing the devs can make is their LEGO-like live service game, but even that is too hard for them. This year they just quit and restarted on yet another attempt of a sequel to the only thing they’ve had success with. That being said, I still enjoy spending hours in the lab and shooting apart other players’ creations.
Personally I think the contestants are forced to try way too hard. They get taught that extreme suffering is a necessary consequence of losing weight. Of course they are going to stop trying and rebound once their part in the contract is done. They don’t know how to live a lifestyle that effortlessly maintains their weight.

For real, I knew people whose family had to stand in lines just to get food or common items. It’s foolish to advocate for abolishing capitalism when states with “real leftism” overwhelmingly do not thrive for long or at all.
