I was just gonna ask why the switch but I see now. That’s wack hope transmission can be just as good one day

I was more hoping it’d teach people to always pirate Nintendo products
I’ve been looking to get a vps. Where do you get one under $40/year?
For default, they are unfederated in threads.
Do you mean instances have just all unfederated or that it’s built into Lemmy itself?
I haven’t heard anything on threads in a while so I’m not sure how well it took off but I agree that having something like threads could bring in more users.
Honestly I like the vibe of Lemmy and the fediverse now but I definitely do miss how there was a community for everything.
I’m very excited
past like 8 years they’ve turned shit imo. I got a used t460s and it feels so cheap compared to the t530 I had before. Like I know it’s the s version and it’s slimmer but it feels so fragile and I can not for the life of me figure out why it keeps freezing when I pick it up by the bottom left corner or if it bangs around too much in my bag. just overall shit. still better then most other laptops tho
in my mind tho steam is the first party launcher cause that’s the launcher I bought the game from. If your game comes shipped with another one that’s gonna run when I try to play just don’t bother putting it on steam. I bought Far cry 3 and refunded it just because of uplay being jank. I still played the game, just pirated it
I use this constantly
I used to only use KDE but fedora made me love gnome
For me I want just a lil bit more of the niche subreddits to migrate over then I’ll be content
I got a surface pro 3 from goodwill for $99. Been running fedora on it and it runs hot the fan will get loud but honestly it’s great for reading manga with komikku or watching movies and stuff. the pro 3 works without the linux-surface kernel so that’s a plus even if it does mean it’s a little slow. gnome works great on it and it makes me wish all my laptops had a touchscreen. in tablet mode the on screen keyboard leaves a bit to be desired but I hear there’s some improvements in gnome 47 and 48 so I’m hopeful
I like it but I’m still not used to it
I guess because they want it to be done correctly but there’s plenty of opinions on the correct way to do it
swear, but it is funny
honestly glad you made the thread still cause I just love questions like this to see if I can answer them and if I can’t I learn something
Wack.
Guess I’m going to just keep using this one til that happens and I’ll start saving for a framework
