And the prisoners are raping him in retaliation for outing their physical abuse of him in the courtroom. For the rest of the film he appears to be fighting suicidal ideation, and intentionally sheds the Joker persona publicly so that his miserable life can finally end.

I have long felt they are trying to make the Joker into the DC Deadpool, and maybe they misunderstood the international women’s day segment in the first DP.

Why on earth would the writers do that?
I have long felt they are trying to make the Joker into the DC Deadpool, and maybe they misunderstood the international women’s day segment in the first DP.
I always thought Harley was DC’s Deadpool.
And here was me thinking it was Deathstroke. Or, more recently, Red Tool and Blood Pouch.
Because it’s Avant-garde or something. I have no idea what’s going on at Hollywood these days.
